Golden light crests and flows in rhythmic undulations, each wave rising and falling with the urgency of tide pulled by moon, of breath drawn by longing. I Have Become Like Waves of Passion captures light in its most oceanic expression - not individual particles but collective surge, countless photon trajectories creating the illusion of liquid movement, of energy that swells and breaks and rises again. As Kathryn Weill moved with her camera, she traced these amber waves across the darkness, revealing how light behaves exactly as Rumi describes: becoming wave, becoming passion, becoming the very form of desire itself.
This is transformation made visible - the shift from "I see passion" to "I have become passion," from observer to embodiment. The repeating crests suggest perpetual motion, energy that doesn't diminish but renews itself with each wave's rise and fall. In times when we're taught to control passion, to contain it, to make it reasonable and safe, this image celebrates its oceanic nature: powerful, rhythmic, unstoppable. To become like waves of passion is to surrender individuality to flow, to let intensity move through us rather than trying to hold it fixed.
