Two lights meet here and neither surrenders. The cool blue traces a face in profile, unmistakably human in its suggestion, tilted upward as if listening for something just beyond audible range. Below, warm yellow arrives in generous waves, not overwhelming the blue but offering itself alongside it. This is what genuine conversation looks like at the level of light: two distinct frequencies choosing proximity, each remaining fully itself.
The question the title asks is not rhetorical. It genuinely wants to know. Is this exchange, this careful attention we bring to another person's words and silences, fundamentally about delight? Physics tells us that when two wave frequencies meet, they either amplify or cancel.
