White light moves in waves. Not metaphorically - literally: these sweeping striped forms are what yearning looks like when a camera traces it through space, when photons accumulate into pattern and pattern becomes longing made visible. Kathryn Weill swept her camera through the dark, and the light answered with this. Three great forms rising, leaning, pressing toward one another without quite touching. The space between them is the subject.
What does it mean to be only your love? Not a person who loves, but love itself, refined down to that single burning property. The title doesn't say "I am in love." It says I am only this, nothing remaining but the yearning. The black and white strips away everything else - color, warmth, the soft edges of comfort - leaving pure alternating current: presence, absence, presence again. This is vertigo as clarification. The world falls away and what remains is the clean architectural truth of desire: these forms reaching, these waves moving toward a happiness that lives just beyond the frame, just past the next crest, always arriving.
